WALK LEADER: Tony Croasdale , Philadelphia Parks & Recreation
MEETING PLACE: Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Center (700 Cobbs Creek Parkway)
Free. All are welcome. Rain or shine.
This walk coincides with peak songbird migration and is a good time for spring wildflowers. We will walk through the forest, meadow, and wetland in Cobbs Creek Park looking for plants and wildlife.
Walk will begin and end at Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Center. Look for Tony – a big guy with beard and tattoos.
Walk notes:
- Accessibility considerations: If anyone cannot hike on a potentially muddy trail, we can walk the bike path instead.
- Expect uneven terrain; mud or poor drainage.
- Approximate duration: 60 minutes
