WALK LEADER: Ashley Hahn, Jane’s Walk Philadelphia
MEETING SPOT: Dilworth Park
(west side of City Hall) – between the glass subway entrances. I’ll be wearing orange.
Free. All are welcome. Rain or shine.

Take a midday break with a walk through three adjacent public spaces in the heart of Center City – Dilworth Park, JFK/LOVE Park and Paine (MSB) Plaza. How do these spaces make us feel? What do we value in Dilworth? Where is the LOVE? How might we heal Paine? Let’s slow down, look closely, and explore what we might want from these very different and interconnected public spaces. We can end with “Lunch in LOVE” if weather permits.

Walk notes:

  • Accessibility considerations: Busy sidewalks/public spaces. Loud noises and crowds possible. Walk will be in a compact geography, but will require crossing busy streets.
  • Kids, bikes, and dogs welcome.
  • Has places to rest.
  • Approximate duration: 1 hour
