“We will live in love with William Penn and his children as long as the creeks and rivers run, and while the sun, moon, and stars endure.”
I invite you on a walk through the best of times and the worst of times in Fishtown. We will walk the streets that once housed our colonists, war heroes, ship builders, fishermen and laborers. Each street tells a tale of the past, present, and future. Join me and learn the hidden secrets of Fishtown.
Walk begins at Penn Treaty Park and ends at 635 Thompson St.
Walk Notes:
- Accessibility considerations: Uneven terrain. Busy sidewalks. Has rest breaks.
- Dogs welcome. Bicycles welcome. Fun for kids.
- Approximate duration: 90 minutes
